Progress continues on the Blender class. I have been using Grant Abbitt's Complete Blender Creator 3 course, which follows up the initial playing around with meshes with a simple low-poly lighthouse project...as usual I got a little sidetracked from the original project and I'm pretty happy with the result. Read On....
Between reading, working on my Quest cape in RS3, prepping for DnD on roll20, and learning guitar, I have no shortage of things to do. So I decided to take up learning Blender again too. Re-starting with the basics. Read and see more about it here.
Update #1: I recently put my white-board back to use as a checklist for my "Daily Quests" as I've opted to call them. One of my daily tasks is to "Make Something". My "Make something" for today was a short writing piece, probably not even enough to consider a story. But I'm pleased considering how long it's been.Check it out here
Immediate plans for the site will be a navigation frame and an attempt at categorizing things that's is probably futile. This is more or less how I see this site going...make something, share it, play with the site.
A pleasure to meet you. Please, take a seat, an ale, and this mysterious pipe. I am a 30's-year-old neo-luddite hacker living in Kansas City, KS with a passion for ttrpgs, video games (especially roguelikes and weirdly enough simracing), and literature.
As an aged but practicing punk I believe in the DIY ethic, mutual aid, protecting the margenalized including trans kids, and resistence against facism.
ACAB.
This site will be a home for sharing my passions, especially in the form of solo ttrpg write-ups and learning resources I've been writing for non-gamers who want to try ttrpgs (focused on DnD5e atm since that's what I'm DMing).
I often say if you don't like what I'm posting just wait a week. I love learning new things and trying new projects. When I'm not doing unrepetently nerdy things, I like to balance it out with working on our garden, hiking, kayaking, and daytrips to do those other ones. Expect pictures of birds, trees, mushrooms, model car kits, flip zero fun, and god knows what else.
