Blender Adventures
I try to make something every day. The what can vary from a raised garden bed to bee hives to a poem or (very) simple game. One medium I've always been interested in is 3d modeling. I've started classes on learning Blender I think twice before but my brain is very resistant to sticking with things and I've fallend out of it each time.
Here's some renders I've put together while working through the Intro section. The next section will be assembling parts for a modular dungeon so stay tuned! Click for full sized

Arranging Objects, Applying Basic Materials
First test with adding materials
I wasn't super happy with the lightning options we've been show so far. I played with the bottom plane's materials and added its own emission value for some underlighting that looked harsh at first but works pretty well all put together.
Environmental Mesh, Auto0Smoothing, More Material Mods
Added an HDRI background to the world, used auto-smoothing on the basic meshes, and played with roughness and metallic sliders of materials.
Some slight mods. Replaced the teal material with Glass DSF material. Zoomed in a little so they're not floating.
